Our Story

Adriane and Ishaan’s love story began in class during the Spring of 2016 at their beloved alma mater- William and Mary. You could say it was love at first sight, but really it was love at first debate! Even though they were on opposing sides, which ended in a draw, each walked away intrigued by the other. 

Who made the first move? That depends on who you ask. After a group meeting, Adriane messaged a friend for Ishaan’s phone number so that she could return his “lost” charger, the one she saw him pack! After studying, Ishaan asked if he could walk Adriane to class even though his next class was across campus in the opposite direction…

Over the next five years, they traveled, made memories, and became a part of each other's families as they visited Adriane’s family in Norfolk, Virginia, and Ishaan’s family in Singapore and countries afar in between. After graduating William and Mary, Adriane and Ishaan made their home in New York City.

On August 5th, 2020, Ishaan asked Adriane to marry him during a beautiful sunset at the Ocean House. Wrapped up in the moment, they had no idea that they had drawn the attention of a crowd who cheered enthusiastically after Adriane said “yes”! The rest is history in the making!
